Martyn's Law asks organisations to show that their people understand the risks and know what to do. Aegis training gives staff, managers and Responsible Persons the knowledge and confidence to act, delivered by the same senior advisors who lead our advisory work.
Our advisory work helps leadership build a defensible Protect Duty position. Training makes sure that position holds up in practice: at the front door, on the shop floor and in the moments that matter. Each course builds on the methodology we use in our assessments, so what your people learn matches how your organisation's risk has been assessed.
From a single staff session to a full professional pathway, every course is senior-led and grounded in the same methodology.

Everyone completes Levels 1–3, building one consistent way of thinking about threat, risk and decisions. At Levels 4 and 5, learners choose the route that fits their role.
Current status: the pathway is not yet a regulated qualification. Aegis has shared the pathway with City & Guilds, and an ongoing review is under way to establish whether it will be offered as a City & Guilds assured programme or as a regulated qualification. No approval has been confirmed. Until then, learners who pass receive an Aegis RDA certificate, and the level numbers show the intended level of difficulty rather than a regulated award.

“Raising awareness of our responsibility for security. Very worthwhile and much appreciated. Thank you.”
“Learning how to be more aware of suspicious behaviour in the workplace. Great informative session.”
The Act does not prescribe a training course, but premises where 200 or more people may be present must have public protection procedures for staff to follow: evacuation, invacuation, lockdown and communication. Those procedures only work if staff know them. Our 2-hour Security Awareness Course is built around your procedures and your premises.
Frontline and venue staff, managers, and the Responsible Persons accountable under Martyn's Law. The Aegis Risk & Decision Pathway is for security, facilities, operations and compliance professionals who want a structured, assessed professional development route.
Levels 4 and 5 are for supervisors, managers and senior leaders. After the shared core at Levels 1–3, learners choose a specialist route (Protective Security, with Business Continuity and Cyber Risk coming soon), each built on the same Aegis methodology. It gives you a structured process for assessing risk and making decisions in your own organisation, and the knowledge to evidence and defend those decisions for compliance.
Not yet. Aegis has shared the pathway with City & Guilds, and an ongoing review is under way to establish whether it will be offered as a City & Guilds assured programme or as a regulated qualification. No approval has been confirmed and we can't guarantee the outcome or timing. For now, learners who pass receive an Aegis RDA certificate, and the level numbers show the intended level of difficulty. If either route is confirmed, we will explain how earlier completions relate to it.
